CIEH Risk Assessment Principles and Practice Certificate
 


Introduction

A properly implemented programme of risk assessment can asist in the prevention of injuries, facilities, property damage incidents and other losses. The Risk Assessment - Principles and Practice Certificate is designed for managers, supervisors and all those who have a responsibility ro conduct risk assessments. The tutor led element of the programme will typically be 1 day and will assist delegates in becoming familiar with legal requirements, the principles of risk assessments and the methods used when conducting them in practical situations. In addition, delegates will be required to complete an assignment requiring some research and the preparation of a report which may take between 3 - 6 hours depending on individual circumstances an ability.

Delegate requirements/pre-requisites

Delegates will require a good standard of written and oral communication, the ability to analyse the workplace and work activities. They will also require the confidence and ability to seek advice and information and the capability to work as part of a team.
